Gerry brings authority, pace, and wit to proceedings

Gerry has been a broadcast journalist for more than 35 years.  He started with RTE in his native Ireland before moving to Belfast as Ireland Correspondent for TVam in the mid-‘80s. He then worked as a political correspondent/political editor for various ITV companies for the next twenty-five years at Westminster. He has travelled with, and interviewed, every Prime Minister from the late Baroness Thatcher to David Cameron.

In recent years he’s worked for UTV Ireland and TV3 in Dublin. Now back in the UK, he’s a regular commentator on Irish Radio not least on Brexit and the backstop.
